Julie Brewer and Dawn Chapman are veterinary nurses who decided to start a business together having worked together and been friends for many years.
Julie Brewer has a Masters Degree and Clinical Animal Behaviour from University of Lincoln, a Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training from COAPE, and is an Advanced Veterinary Nurse. She also works at Eastfield Veterinary Hospital in North Thoresby.
Julie has always lived with dogs. She developed an interest in behaviour and training due to living with Tyke her Border Collie who did not respond well to the training methods she had been taught. He inflicted injuries to both people and dogs requiring medical attention. With a change in training techniques and additional knowledge Tyke became a well adjusted member of society. Having started on the journey of reward based training she knew that she had to learn more and help other people to choose a better way of teaching their dogs. She never stops studying. Julie enjoys helping people with all sorts of training and behaviour issues and loves to be able to help puppy owners start their life’s journey off on the right paw.
